Using an algorithm created by Brownman Ali in 2010, this program converts the transcendental, non-repeating number PI (3.14159265...) into endless non-repeating rhythms on a staff. Brownman then searches these rhythms as a curator, peering into the depths of PI, looking for those he considers interesting (to him), then utilizing those rhythms as the basis for composition. An entire album's worth of modern jazz based on rhythms found within the endless abyss that is PI is currently being worked on.
